The first half of 2025 is packed with art fairs around the world, with Asian capitals leading the way while established locations remain significant despite market saturation. These events reflect a steadier rhythm in the global art scene after years of post-pandemic growth.

January

ART SG, Singapore
January 16-19

Singapore launches the global art calendar with ART SG’s third edition at Marina Bay Sands. Its increasing significance as an Asian art hub is highlighted by more than 100 exhibitors, which include major galleries like Gagosian and Thaddaeus Ropac, in addition to regional leaders like STPI and Richard Koh Fine Art.

FOG Design+Art, San Francisco
January 22-26

Under new director Sydney Blumenkranz, the 11th edition brings together nearly 60 galleries, including David Zwirner and Lehmann Maupin. The 13 emerging galleries featured in the Focus section on Pier 2 highlight the vibrant and growing community of younger collectors in San Francisco.

January 30-February 2

25 carefully chosen exhibitors provide a deep focus on African art and its diaspora at this small but impressive event at the La Mamounia Hotel.

Mexico City Art Week
February 5-11

Three major February fairs will energize Mexico City: Zona Maco, Latin America’s leading art fair with global galleries; Salón Acme, an artist-centered market in historic spaces; and Material, showcasing emerging galleries and experimental projects.

India Art Fair, New Delhi
February 6-9

With around 120 exhibitors, the subcontinent’s largest art show balances strong regional representation with esteemed international names like David Zwirner and Lisson Gallery.

Frieze Los Angeles
February 20-23

Frieze Los Angeles 2025 returns to Santa Monica Airport (February 20–23) with over 100 galleries. The Art Production Fund’s Inside Out theme features site-specific works by Greg Ito and Jackie Amézquita. Two satellite fairs—Felix LA at the Hollywood Roosevelt and the new Santa Monica Post Office Fair—offer alternative experiences.

TEFAF Maastricht
March 13-20

TEFAF Maastricht 2025, hosted at the Maastricht Exhibition & Conference Centre from March 13–20, will showcase 7,000 years of art and antiquities from over 260 exhibitors across 20 countries.

Art Basel Hong Kong
March 26-30

With 242 exhibitors from 42 countries, the fair solidifies its status as Asia’s premier art event, featuring over half from the Asia-Pacific region and supported by the alternative Supper Club fair.

Dallas Art Week
April 10-13

This spring, Dallas hosts two concurrent art fairs: the invite-only Dallas Invitational (April 10–12) at the historic Mansion on Turtle Creek, featuring 15 galleries including Bureau, Clearing, and Night Gallery, and the 17th Dallas Art Fair (April 10–13) at the Fashion Industry Gallery.

Art Dubai
April 16-20

The Middle East’s largest art fair returns to Madinat Jumeirah from April 16–20, with over 100 galleries, including 20 newcomers like Bortolami and Richard Saltoun. Featuring contemporary, modern, digital art, and the Bawwaba section for recent solo shows, the fair showcases diverse global perspectives.

Expo Chicago
April 24-27

Now part of the Frieze portfolio, Expo Chicago returns to Navy Pier’s Festival Hall for its 12th edition. Highlights include Special Exhibitions for nonprofits, Editions + Books for limited editions, Profile for solo and themed presentations, and Exposure for emerging galleries.

Art Brussels
April 24-27

Art Brussels 2025, celebrating its 40th edition at the historic Brussels Expo, will feature 170 galleries across five sections: Discovery, Rediscovery, Invited, Prime, and Solo. The fair continues to showcase a diverse range of modern and contemporary art, building on its 26,000 attendees.

New York Art Week
May 7-14

Four major New York art fairs will align within the same week: Frieze New York, NADA New York, Independent New York, and TEFAF New York. Frieze and NADA are conveniently located near New York’s Chelsea gallery district, while Independent is just steps away from the Tribeca gallery scene.

Taipei Dangdai
May 8-11

Taipei Dangdai, organized by Art Assembly, returns for its sixth edition this year. Last year, it drew 35,000 visitors and featured 78 Asia-Pacific galleries, alongside major names like David Zwirner, Galleria Continua, and Perrotin.

June

Art Basel, Switzerland
June 17-22

Art Basel returns to Messe Basel from June 19–22, with previews on June 17–18, featuring over 250 top galleries. Satellite fairs include Liste (June 16–22), June Art Fair in a refurbished bunker (June 16–17), and the Basel Social Club, a vibrant art hub.
