Artwork Description

Size: 18 x 24 cm

In 1942, the German artist Oskar Schlemmer created his final series of works known as “Fensterbilder,” which translates to “window pictures.” Tichy resided in Schlemmer’s Master House in Dessau for two months in 2020. Exploring the window as a medium of communication, Tichy connects the interior and exterior, past and present.
